Terms of Use

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the TrukTek platform (truktek.com) operated by TrukTek Freight Systems LLC ("TrukTek", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Description of Services

TrukTek provides a freight intelligence platform including:

  • Load board search — find available freight across the US
  • Rate intelligence — market rate data for freight lanes
  • Lane chain planning — multi-stop route optimization
  • Bandit AI assistant — AI-powered load, rate, and mileage queries
  • BOL Scanner and Invoice Processor — AI document extraction tools
  • ATS Simulator — freight market analytics dashboard
  • Mileage lookup and other carrier utilities

Some features require a free account. Premium features require an active paid subscription.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at casey.fox@truktek.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not share your account or API credentials with others. Each account is for a single user or entity.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions grant access to premium features including Bandit AI, lane chain planning, mileage lookup, and rate intelligence. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis.

Trial periods, where offered, convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial unless cancelled. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact casey.fox@truktek.com within 7 days of a charge if you believe you were billed in error.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download load data or any platform content
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to TrukTek data or features
  • Use the platform to transmit spam, malware, or fraudulent content
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the platform
  • Use automated scripts to circumvent rate limits or access controls
  • Impersonate another user, carrier, or TrukTek employee
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

6. Load Data and Accuracy

Load listings, rate data, and mileage information on TrukTek are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any load listing or rate. TrukTek is not a freight broker and does not guarantee freight transactions. Always verify load details directly with the posting party before committing to a haul.

7. AI Features and Limitations

Bandit AI and other AI-powered features provide assistance based on available data and language model outputs. AI responses may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Do not rely solely on AI-generated information for business, legal, or safety decisions. TrukTek is not liable for decisions made based on AI outputs.

8. API Access

Access to TrukTek APIs requires authentication and, for premium endpoints, an active subscription. API credentials must not be shared or embedded in public repositories. We may rate limit, throttle, or revoke API access at our discretion. TrukTek is not liable for disruptions to API availability.

9. Intellectual Property

All platform content, software, design, and branding are the property of TrukTek Freight Systems LLC. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any TrukTek intellectual property. You may not use TrukTek's name, logo, or branding without prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUKTEK FREIGHT SYSTEMS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO TRUKTEK IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TrukTek Freight Systems LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Sections 9–12 survive termination.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in South Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
